So much so, it's hard to remember what life was like before her. We can t thank you enough. She's fantastic with the kids and loves to snuggle. We still can't get over the fact that she doesn't shed. In fact, we love her coat so much we can't bring ourselves to have her groomed. It won t be too much longer though.
It increases a child’s emotional instinct of compassion and care. Compare the time a child spends in caring for a Goldendoodle puppy, playing with a puppy, walking the puppy, feeding a little hungry puppy, taking the Goldendoodle to the vet, or simply sitting on the back porch petting an animal that is totally devoted. Now think of that same child sitting in front of a computer – spending time shooting, killing, and fighting opponents. Conquering, destroying, relishing in it all. Before buying a puppy it is important to understand the associated costs of owning a dog. The annual cost or "upkeep" is often overlooked when determining a Goldendoodles true ownership cost.
We expect our breeders to demonstrate honesty, integrity, and fairness in dealing with other owners, breeders, purchasers of puppies and the general public. We feel that the deliberate production of “Golden Doodles” profoundly violates that trust. The Golden Retriever, as a purebred dog, comes from generations and generations of breeding dogs with a common gene pool and a characteristic appearance, temperament and function. “Goldendoodles” are nothing more than mixed breed dogs. Goldendoodles of whatever generation are usually friends of everyone and strangers to no one, which makes them an ideal choice as a family dog. Due to their affable, outgoing personalities, Goldendoodles also make excellent companions for people with disabilities. They are cheerful, trustworthy, gentle, affectionate, smart and highly trainable animals that have a keen desire to please. When properly socialized, Goldendoodles get along famously with kids, strangers and other companion animals. They don’t have a particularly strong prey drive and can be quite compatible with cats and smaller dogs, when introduced in a good way. These are social dogs that thrive in the presence of people and crumble if they are not given enough time, attention and affection. Like any dog, Goldendoodles can get into mischief and develop behavioral problems if they are left alone for long periods of time.
You could see it in his eyes. Sensitive stomach, loved to bring gifts to people, especially shoes so you were always missing one. He was 76 pounds. He looked bigger due to hair but if I cut him he was skinny. Loved to swim. Smarter then my golden. The best dog. Shed in clumps when he was older. Easy to scoop up!Hope that helpsThis is the most common Goldendoodle size. A standard size Goldendoodle is strong and lean with an overall athletic appearance. They have long legs compared to their body size, which makes them tall for their weight.
